Problem cancelling from WEBAFRICA

Glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.

Their fast actions and great support towards this issue really speaks volumes about the services they offer.

We hope we can put this behind us and going forward, we will have the opportunity to provide our usual level of high-quality service.

I'm going to have to say a very *tentative* thank you on this one. Reason being that as recently as Friday 25th September at 15:35, I received a nasty SMS and e-mail informing me that my service has been suspended. Well that's one way of getting my account cancelled I guess (:p).

Anyway, due to that I am unable to confirm that the credit has actually been applied and that we can in fact "put this behind us".

I'll give it another week or so and then update this thread with something more conclusive.

Me too. But once I've used up my last remaining MB's I'll be using Afrihost prepaid at R49/Gig, that's R21/gig less than WA prepaid.

Sheesh Afrihost is R21 cheaper on prepaid as well - and that's not even the Afrihost Special

FFS Web Africa better do something or a lot of people are gonna move over :eek:

I mean, for every 2 Gigs you buy at Web Africa, you could almost buy 3 Gigs at Afrihost :eek:

as promised - the latest feedback on this...

Going to have to say a BIG thank you to WaDaniel for sorting this out. It's been over a week now and not a nasty sms/e-mail in sight.

Case closed.

Can one cancel accounts with Firefox 3.5 yet? I refuse to go back to WA until that's resolved.

Cancelation function

Hi guys,

@BartonFink
Thanks for the update, I am glad to hear this has finally been resolved :D

@Keeper
We are currently fine tuning our Tier 1 network, once testing is completed we will have the freedom to offer new exciting packages :cool:

There was an issue with the cancelation function under the client area which we believed to be resolved. If you are still experiencing any issues with this function please PM me your client details and the error returned and I will gladly investigate further.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
