problem with connection

ok, It seems as though I have a problem with dota online, I always get disconnected during dota and no other game. plz help

When do you get disconnected? Half-way through the game, before the game starts, etc?

I'm playing on local severs and it disconnects about 5-9 min into the game...

what connection u got?
iburst? ..cos it could be a timeout.

else check that ur copy of war isnt corrup somehow. reinstall it?/recopy

Playing haz nothing to do with forwarding your port, it is only needed for hosting. Try turning off your firewall whilst playing w3. Does it only happen in dota or any w3 custom game?
