Problem with PEP Stores Airtime Voucher

I bought an airtime voucher from PEP which my phone declined as invalid. Customer care told me they were having problem with Vouchers PEP and told me to wait while they sort the problem out. I received an SMS from Telkom Mobile saying I should get a refund from PEP who declined and when I called customer care once again they insisted I get a refund and now I'm stuck. Did anyone else experience this?
 
I have never experienced any issues with any airtime vouchers purchased at any retail outlets. They have always loaded without any hassles.

Are you 100% sure that the cashier printed Telkom Mobile airtime? Sometimes the cashier makes mistake and prints out Telkom land line prepaid - happen to me once, now I just say 8ta and Telkom Mobile together.

What are the first 4 digits.
 
I believe PEP has suffered a huge problem with their voucher system on the 18th of June, so it's probably related to that. Just keep badgering them for you money back.
 
PEP store didn't have any R100 domination vouchers when I wanted to purchase on both days different stores.

Has there been an official press release regarding this or not.
