I'm a bit dumb with these things and would like some info and advice.

Due to my location the only internet connection (except for dailup) available is a wireless connection. A cable plugs into my network card, runs to my roof to some boxy thingy, from there to the sports field where an antenna is in direct line of sight, to the mountain, and down to town where it connects to a fixed line.
Although I had to use a certain values in my TCP/IP settings I haven't done this for about 2 years now, cause I lost the paper with the stuff on. But everything worked fine.

Now, initially I had no problem with online gaming. Stable connection with a ping of about 26-30 to the BF2/ DOD:S servers.

For the last 4 weeks or so I have experienced difficulty with my net. Although the net is not disconnecting, it seems there is no data flow for a short period. No web pages want to open, xfire disconnects, I get kicked from the gaming servers. I can either wait a minute or 2 and it will resume, or I can disconnect the net, connect again and it will work. This happens when I play games(extremely frustrating) or when I'm busy with a download or simply surfing. I also asked around and other people have the same problem.

When I phoned the company they claim that according to their system I'm still connected. While I was talking to them it happened twice, but they could not pick it up. So they sent a technician who changed my TCP/IP settings and claimed that was the problem. And for the remainder of that day the net was actually fine. But now the problem is starting again, same problems than before.

Do any of you have any idea what can cause this.
