This questions is purely product related. As this also might have happened to many of you guys, I just wanted to get some feedback from this. The highest local only account that there is, is currently the 30gb. Now as most of you, that probably gets used way before the month ends and you either go over a little bit or get capped or have to buy a once off account quickly.

My question to the openweb staff is, why not create a 40, 50 or even 60gb local account?

Im sure many ppl including myself would go for this as no one wants to wonder on what total after their allowed cap their gonna get capped on etc.

I sure dont want to get an uncapped account at over R2000 and many ppl out there definately use more that 30gb a month.

Any feedback from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks

You know it wouldn't be so bad if they offered online purchasing with immediate activation because surprisingly people don't always run out of bandwidth during office hours. ;)
I have a 40GB local account from openweb.
You're lucky - there isnt even a pricing option I can find for that.

buy 2x 30gb accounts = 60gb :D
damm, i'm batteling to get 30gb downloaded per month from the slow IS news server :(
(run outa bandwith by about the 26th of every month)

Hey Friends

IS dictates the size of Local Only accounts we can sell.

We have indicated the demand for higher bandwidth accounts. We are holding thumbs for good news in the near future.

Thank you for your keen interest in OpenWeb.

Kind regards

Did you make a special arrangement with Omac who pays r139 for his 40gb account?

It was an expirement that did not turn out profitable, and was removed from our website.

Only clients whom had the account at the time would be able to keep it at that price.

I suppose this a rant not at the resellers but it would be great if there was a mechanism to top up.

Not a rant after all.
