TruTeq Wireless is a leading telecommunications software provider with customers spanning the globe. We develop cutting edge in-house products that are deployed and supported on a 24x7 basis.
We have a position available for a talented candidate wanting to work in a fast moving telecoms environment. It is a dual role with about half of the time spent supporting the Project manager and half of the time assisting the Support manager.
If you enjoy multi-faceted responsibilities, working with people from all over the world, and understand that a happy customer is good for everybody, then this may be the opportunity for you. If you like fixed responsibilities with straightforward KPI's, then this is not the place for you.
For the project coordination part, the successful candidate will assist the Project manager and
· Assist, Manage and lead small to medium scale projects
· Interact with account management and sales teams
· Liaise with all stakeholders throughout the project
· Utilise project management methodologies to initiate, plan, execute, monitor & control and ultimately close a project
· Take control of changes during project using the change control management process
· Utilise process definitions and documentation templates throughout project life cycle
For the support coordination part, the successful candidate will assist the Support manager to
· Manage the support responsibilities and escalations
· Plan Job orders
· Liase with the support staff to ensure support events are completed and reports generated on time
· Liase with the customers to ensure that regular feedback meetings take place
To be successful, the candidate must have experience in delivering systems and software related projects. A technical understanding of computers and telecommunications is a base requirement and very high proficiency in English is essential.
A qualification in computer science, information systems, engineering or related academic field is an advantage, but high work ethics and the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
The salary will be negotiated based on the skills and experience the successful applicant brings.
The office is located in Centurion, Pretoria.
