Linobuntu Version 2 (64bit edition) {Please note if if there is enough response a 32bit edition will be released)

Linobuntu is a customised version of Ubuntu Linux. It aims to further streamline Ubuntu by providing a "better out of the box" experience than Ubuntu does.

Version 2:

Available as 64bit
Based on Ubuntu 8.10 (99% compatible with Ubuntu binaries)
For now a new version is released every 8 months
Community Theme and Icon packs used/
The documentation in this release, is the default found in Ubuntu 8.10
Due to how the default Ubuntu scripts work, Linobuntu will be unable to provide Nvidia and Ati drivers out of the box.

Updates are handled through Synaptic package manager and uses the same updates as Ubuntu 8.10 does.

If you do not like the theme it can be changed easily and any community theme can be used instead.

If you use Linobuntu, due to the fact it includes restricted software to allow multimedia playback. You must agree to the following, if not then do not use it.

1) The legal restrictions do not apply in your country.
2) You have permission to use the software, an official license.
3) You using this software for research purposes only.

What is strange I ended up by chance finding my Linobuntu Version 1, which I finished. Ran it on my PC and OMG it still works without a flaw!
 
Changes for Linobuntu Version 2

To start of it will be mainly 32bit to start with. If there is a large demand then a 64bit port will be made.

For now the plans are to only support Gnome Desktop.

Linobuntu Version 2 is based on Ubuntu 9.04.
