Project Linobuntu

Gad you're back into this, LM.

I'm itching to give this a try, hoping to try out Kubuntu and Linobuntu, whilst my existing Hardy (Gnome) will simply be upgraded via Alternate CD.
 
Who can or would like to help me with the development of Linobuntu?
 
I think you should first sent out a few and after we had a look at it, then you will get better response.
 
Linobuntu Version 2, is officially in the works. The following is expected.

Based on Ubuntu 8.10, thus it will have the latest and greatest updates available from the open source movement. (All features from Ubuntu will be added to it)

That is very nice. More complete package. I would download that over the normal Ubuntu package.
 
Would also like to give it a try, sounds promising :)

i would like too help what do you need done . i think its an awesome project and i would love to be a part of it .
i know basics programmining and scripting but i know my way around linux
 
I need someone to write a little program that would interact with Pulse Audio.

Basically do (with a small script the following below)

Go to a terminal and type the following. Excluding the inverted commas:

"sudo gedit /etc/pulse/daemon.conf"

Go down to the line that says " ;default-sample-channels = 2"

Change it so it looks like the following:

"default-sample-channels = 6"

Save and exit.
