I actually just setup another trail jira cloud instance.

Although I was able to log tickets from my other email address, any status updates or comments that I made as the admin/developer didn't result in email notifications

TBH not sure about the cloud version, we run local instance.
 
We are using axosoft ontime.

Tried it and hated it.

We currently use Unfuddle for distributed source control (SVN for Java, Git for .NET - both supported by Unfuddle), ticket management, time logging and reporting. It's nice to have source commits and associated tickets all linked up nicely to one another.
