Prophecy sold me a dud pc...

+1. [-]Tell[/-] Ask them to build a working pc for you and then you will be gloriously happy :p

Yes absolutely. If it was one DOA component you can understand. But replacing motherboards is a lot of work that you shouldn't have to do

Power

What is the power like in your small town.

Are you using a UPS.

it seems that your pc are possessed.... or the basementcat is at work

unfortunately i can only speculate on what causes this, if you had updated all the software and it still happens after a clean install it might either be gpu is getting to hot or maybe even the 12V isn't being supplied evenly by pus which causes the mobo to reboot.

owell lets see what the supplier says :)

I just hope it gets sorted out soon, i bought this pc 2/3 weeks ago and ill ive been able to do it look at it...

It went differently in my mind

ps. Basementcat? errr huh?

didn' read all posts, but retarded problem i had a while ago was with the SATA cables. Some of them have an "L" shaped bend at one end, and are straight at the other...

Not sure which way is correct, but my drive did not show up until I got the cable the right way around. I think it was the "L" going to drive, the straight part to the Mobo.

Was mentioned in might small fine print in the documentation that came with mobo...

Hope this helps!

Those SATA cables should work either way, I have a few and use the L shaped side depending on were the L will fit better, maybe your cable needed to be re-fitted?

Strange, i've connected the L-shape into both the mobo and HDD and i didn't have any issues.
