On Friday I went for a prostate check up, while the doctor put in his finger, he did some decent testing. I can still feel there was a finger inside my body. Then I fought, what about people who do ass sex, that must really hurt

I had one on Wednesday. Wasn't pleasant but I was happy to know I didn't have cancer but rather an enlarged prostate.

Agree , I had the same test done to check my prostate out. Way more comfortable for me than getting a doc to probe

You should definitely have become concerned if you felt both his hands on your shoulders while doing this "examination"........

Indeed. PSA readings can be within range and the individual could still have cancer. As a relative of mine recently found out. It was only after the finger test that his doc advised a biopsy which then revealed cancer.

I can personally attest to the above statement. My PSA test was not overly elevated but the finger test, subsequent scans and biopsy confirmed prostate cancer.
