Ok so do we have adequate replacements for Amla, Duminy and especially Bavuma and Rabada moving forward?

How do they maintain this ratio if there's not enough non white of players of international quality in the selection pool.

They should've started enforcing this at primary school level an allow players to naturally progress.

This should not be implemented anywhere. Its a BS system, How can you select a less talented player above someone more talented based on race?, its not right, no matter how you look at it.
Basically what they are telling white kids is it does not matter how good you are, how hard you train you will not be selected. its wrong.
Before 94 other countries boycotted us, but now that they are doing exactly the same to us, everyone turns a blind eye?, because we are white?, if blatant racism is directed at white people its okay?

You end up is are two black African, one Indian, 5 whites and 3 colourds in the starting 11. That is exactly the current mix of the team that is currently South African team. Some of our 1 day and 20/20 matches we have played with up to 8 non whites.

If they enforce it in provincial level, I think that's only when some provinces will struggle. But the quotas are only at national level.

Another example, so lets say we have our team, 10 of the 11 players are preforming, and say for instance 1 black player is constantly failing, Now on the domestic scene we have a preforming white player, averaging 60+, so now they will refuse to replace the non preforming black player with a preforming white player?, they will rather replace him with another black player regardless if he is no where near the preforming white player??

I specifically said primary school when most kids only start playing and everyone is largely untested so merit is less of an issue.

Allow a natural progession from there but government needs to step in and provide coaching and facilities to these kids, so there's no issue with white privilege.

If they want a representative and culturally diverse team they must bloody well pay for it.

I did read your post. Even though this is the best way yes, its still wrong. Regardless of age and race, some people will always be more talented than others and there should be no discrimination.

I was being sarcastic. Someone mentioned they'd get in on merit just fine if they were capable which I found a bit odd. I'm not a follower of football but from what I've seen, good white players are good, no?

And your point is? Because there are 50million blacks and 4 million whites it now makes them better football players? There is more action in schoolboy football overseas than in any SA football game. Its the worst most boring football. If European teams played football like SA clubs they'd be booed off the field.

My point is that there is little but self exclusion keeping white players in SA from being great. Despite that, the national team comes close to national demographics.

Lovely language, but English based schools, and boys schools don't all offer soccer As I said, some of them actively discourage it.
