Once(when i was 7) i found "the pill" in my mom's cupboard and asked what it is and my mom said plant food but now i know in fact it wasn't!! LMAO!!!

quick derail: a friend of mine used to have to help out with sex ecucation for the poorer rural settlements....

they would show the guys how to use a condom but used a broomstick instead. So guy comes back bit later and says his gf pregnant. turns out he really did put it on the broomstick instead of his willy

and another case: they told guy to go to clinic and get the pill for his gf. comes back later saying she is pregnant. well, if pill is not taken at the exact time each day, or you are using antibiotics, you cancel out the effect of the pill. turns out this dude got the pill, and drank it himself he must've been in touch with his feminine side for a while

Use both if you're really worried. But the pill is more her decision as it can have major side affects. And there are different types of pill depending on the woman - my ex was on the 3 month pill - I had to practically leave town once every 3 months...
