Protection

Oke my side effects, ( i started after the doctor decided that i was drinking to many pain killers that time of the month age 18) (it didn't work for the pain)

My body hair increased ( facial and on my back lucky i'm blond)
headaches
cellulite (estrogen causes cellulite)
no sex drive (That i only figured out later when it started to bother me when guys called me the ice queen, when i was 20 it was a compliment)
I picked up weight (lots)
Moods (pms)
Because they do not test your hormone leves at 18 they give you the wrong pill and you end up with ages of problems later.

But hell i can deal with my body not screaming fussing little ones.

So besides the chances of dying i became an hormonal monster with lots of fluffy white body hair......

@ Peder - what do you do if you are married and do not want kids? Or more kids?

If you do not want kids then you go for the snip snip (cut the little cord of the testicles so they don't make sperm, can't remember the word now)

lol, there is the solution right there, throw in a condom or two, a few pills here, and there is no chance of any "reproduction" of any kind :D

on a more serious note, there are certain benefits to using the pill
- controls menstrual cycles (ie keeps "it" regular and on time)
- reduced chance of ovarian cancer (if used for something like more than 2 years)
- i have also heard that it helps control acne (this may be an old wives tale used to have your daughter birth control but I am not sure)

Apparently taking "the pill" during teenage years may cause breast cancer when older...

Linoman, relax.

Everything needs to be in both your favour and hers to become pregnant. It's doesn't really happen as easy as everyone makes it out to be :D For all we know you might still have a "Wind Ball"... Use protection and the Dome should be efficient. You're new to this, don't get her on the pill and then go bareback swimming. I can see where this is going :D

Just stick with the domes and you'll do fine. The odds of those things going pop on you is the same as you being hit by lightning. Just make sure you put it on correctly and there will be no problem what so ever ;)

LOLZ!

But really it's a funny world? We all know nookie makes babies, why is she not taking any responsibility? +100% for you!! But she has to take some to and if she doesn't want to she will just have to settle for "kinders by dosyne..... "

Our internet is fscked today so i can not get the recearch i found on the sexdrive thing.

This is something i find quite weird and always happens where the guy using the condom is the only contraception used and the chick usually blames the guy too when an accident happens :p both should take an effort.

Do you know that men have to get tested at age 35 fot testostorone and can then after a few years get tested and have it replaced.... reduces the pouch and heart attacks...

I don't understand this cryptic post :o

Sorry.... i just threw that in. Just something i read. Men have always been lucky to not have to drink hormone pills and stuff now the recomend it.

ooo :p

I think they will tone down my testostrone :o

Anyway, I read someone mentioning a merinalube. My youngest brother was born through one of them devices :D

And men claim to feel those little strings on them.

No idea. Will have to ask my dad :D (I don't want to have that conversation with him )

But since the twins are removed via C-section the wife will have the factory's doors closed. So that is the end of my reproduction :p. But I think 4 is enough now

uhm, apparently male non-permanent contraceptive methods will be kicking in from nxt yr or so.. but then its always pushed further and further back each yr

The long acting contraceptives are a better option than the pill. But you should also look at all the other contraceptive options. Condoms should really only be considered a short-term solution while you figure out which of the better options to use. The only reason to keep using them is if you have multiple partners (which you shouldn't) or you/your regular partner already has a disease.

Eish that is not good. Quite scary in fact I wouldn't want to have my girlfriend ever risk that:confused:
I would look at the actual incidence of serious side-effects or even minor side-effects instead of anecdotal horror stories.

Thats why Sex out of marriage is soo risky...
An unintended pregnancy is a risk, marriage or not. Being married does not guarantee anything.
