I should have called him out long ago about his straw man arguments. He probably doesn't even realise he's doing this:

A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent. One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man."

I've said this before and I'll say it again:

He's not a member of the 'gang', actually a pretty decent guy that can make and take a joke. Our politics don't always align, but hey, that's okay. Yes, he can argue.

Maybe if I had more time on my hands, I'd also pee off people, maybe even you or FF :laugh:
