Protests: Alexandra under total shutdown

The ANC was voted out in 2016... so what you saying? We can't give the DA run metro 25 years to get things right, how long do we give them?
Good question, especially considering their efforts are being frustrated by provincial and national government - for example, Human Settlements budgets slashed, NPA not pursuing cases handed to them by the city's forensic services.

Felling of trees i can understand but trimming ? thats effed up bureaucracy , while rates are just lining their pockets.
Yup I know, though some people just do it and hope for the best. But there have been a few R5000 fines given.

The biggest issue is that the Metro is controlled by the DA, but provincial is still ANC, so therefore ANC still gets to cripple the DA metros budget.

Yeah i saw the rent-a-protester crowd this morning.

Community members have accused the City of Johannesburg of failing to stop the mushrooming of illegal structures in the township.

Hmmm I love the smell of elections.
