Hi Guys.

My current setup at work is such that i have 2 setups

1) 4 meg adsl 16gig cap for the management running via ccproxy on a win.xp pc.
2) 1024 diginet for the rest of the company users running via a win2k8 tmg2010 with gfi.webmonitor thus enforcing the surf/site policy. (shares with email/ip phones ect)

I need to shift the entire pool http/https of users from the diginet to the adsl , but i need to use something that i can use the site policy/whitelist/blacklist/monitoring.

I have obtained business uncapped instead in the place of the 16gig cap.

any ideas/suggestions? as to alternative solution to ccproxy? - something MS based or if it has to be linux ; something that is erm quick 2 grasp !

thanks!

I use pfSense (www.pfsense.org) on an old Celeron with 2GB of RAM and 3 network cards with fairly good results, the GUI is easy to get around. This does my firewall/routing/proxy & OpenVPN solution.

thanks for the info - i'll look into ipcop

just a few more questions if i can :) ?

i need the ipcop to either pppoe dial itself or point it to the adsl modem.

current ccproxy pc is 192.168.0.10 :808

modem currently is on 192.168.1.254 ; the ccproxy uses bridge mode adsl to connect.

is the autentication/routing going to be a prob? don't really want the modem in the 0.x range.

also - does one really need 3 nics? - i can understand 1 cable from pc to modem and 1 from nic to internal.

thanks for the newbie questions ! hope i make sense?
