OK so where is the best deal to buy one? I see Wantitall has for R619.

Wantitall/getting someone to bring it over for overseas is usually the cheapest but look out for combo deals, if you use your PS3 to play media there used to be a deal with a controller and remote for R100 less than the controller cost which is quite good value for money.

I see they have it on special atm in their weekly specials, going at R979....not a bad price though. I might consider

Just seen, Game has it for R899. Still R100 more than what I paid for it but not a bad deal all the same.

Wow. I had no idea that page existed on Take2. Anyone here have experience with their Amazon import services? After a year without a 2nd control, another 10-17 working days hardly seems like torture!

Went to CNA today....had a look at their controllers. They are currently priced at 899 for the controller and the remote. I think it is an ok price. Was just wondering is it really worth it to buy the remote too, I am currently using Control for HDMI which uses the TV's remote to control the PS3.
