Little Big Planet, Killzone 2 and GTA IV all have early April releases according to this.

I don't particularly give a crap if the PS3 guys get GTA4 before the 360 guys, we all know which console has exclusive content. :D However, my heart does yearn for some LBP action, that game is gonna kick some ASS this year.

The only reason someone would buy an Xbox is because it's more affordable. :P .... oh yes and if they like the sound a vacuum cleaner makes

Sony fanboy alert...attack!

Unfortunitely it true, xbox is a noisy bugger. One of the reasons why I bought a PS2 instead, couldn't afford a PS3 as yet and PS3 games are darn expensive.

It's certainly not silent I'll admit, but the newer systems, ie. those with the newer CPUs and DVD drives, are far less noisier that the original incarnations :)

The XBOX may not have the supercomputer-like processing power of the PS3, but unfortunately that power is very difficult to harness. I haven't seen a single game that is better on the PS3 than on the XBOX 360. It may be that they're simply doing crappy ports to the PS, but what about the exclusive games that are also crappy?

Game development for the XBOX has been going on for 2 years (or more) now, so I guess we can expect them to have all their software better refined. Guess only time will tell what Sony will come up with in the future.

You do know that a vacuum cleaner can suck up a little rock you place in front of your door right? Hence the Xbox beating the PS3 :D

But seriously, the games selection on the 360 trumps the PS3's by far. There is no arguing that at this point in time. Maybe by the end of this year things will have changed, but Microsoft also have a good year ahead of them so we'll see once it's all over.

I have a 3 month old Xbox with HDMIs and stuff - and if mine is more silent than the original then wow! They're terribly noisy!

I've often thought when they built the prototypes and they took them into the executive meetings, didn't someone perhaps point out that they can't have that noise in most lounges ... ?

Surely someone picked it up before it was on the shelves!

You whining again? :D

I don't even notice the noise on the Xbox???

And if you're in the middle of a Live Halo 3 match you don't care, I promise you! That being said I can't recall my 360 making that much noise.

I despise exclusive releases. The more games that get released for every platform the better.

It's noisier than I'd like, but less noisy than the typical PC, easily masked by keeping it in a cabinet or of course by the sound of the games.

No, because you can. Would they have heard it over the sound of whatever demonstration they were running?

am I the only one that is crying here? I mean, how the FSCK AM I GONNA AFFORD THOSE GAMES????????????? I mean, I gotta save cash for about 1 game every 2 months, I don't get much cash to take home and slash with, and I usually spend it on booze :D

lol... I believe the bank manager might get a call form me :p

I despise multiplatform releases, as the programmers have to cater to the lowest common denominator and one console always suffers.

Not to mention that quality is invariably lowered as the games are rushed to get them on all the platforms at the same time.

Ports are especially bad when the game was originally developed for one system and then ported as an afterthought to make some quick cash.

Ports are bad. Exclusives are good.

DUDE it's comparing the xbox elite and xbox classic. I would rather buy thhe classic and save a grand after reading that.
