PS5

I did, and regret getting the PS5, sits under the TV looking ugly and collecting dust.

I own a gaming PC, Series X, PS5 and also owned a Switch. But ended up selling the Switch because the games are really not my kind of games. People go crazy about the Nintendo exclusives but I don't see the appeal.

Console wise I switch between the Series X and PS5. Because I'm late to the party on the PS side I have a lot of exclusives to play. While on the Series X I get the new games that release right onto Game Pass.

On PC I've almost exclusively been playing Diablo IV this year. I just chill with the game, the music switched off and listen to audiobooks. Very relaxing. I'm not that fond of pc gaming because it's sitting at the same desk where I work every day.

Feel free to quote me. But that's me, savage as I might be? Wasn't aware it's a requirement for the Xbox I'm afraid...I probably buy one pack of batteries a year for the TV remote...if that even

You know normal batteries kill the environment. The acid seeps into the ground and kills sht.

Switch to rechargeables even for your remotes. Tossing 1 is better than 5-10 over the same time span. Counter to what you may believe small things matter esp when you move up in scale.

Console battle hasn't happened for years, it's only ponies that bring it up due to fragile egos and need to make themselves feel better. Same as why they bring up Metacritic, because they believe review scores matter

MS has moved forward into the cloud and subscription platforms while Sony has caught on they are being left behind, hence why they announced a few months ago they are investing millions into GaaS and cloud, to stay relevant.

The only things that matter less than review scores are gamepass (only slightly less) and a distant last place .... wait for it ... cloud gaming.

There are less degrees of separation between me and people who think the earth is flat than between me and people who play cloud games.
There are probably more PCs running Windows Vista right now than there are people who stream games from the cloud.

Just because people are pouring money into it doesn't mean it's the (near to medium term) future. Ask Zuck and his metaverse.

I'll reconsider my opinion in 2043.

I'll tell you what, next time I need to replace the TV remote battery I will buy a recharge pack for £20 that includes 4 batteries on Amazon. That's more than enough for my needs as I don't have controllers that also require AA. Happy?

And what exactly do I believe?

The PS controller charging dock is really poorly made.

Was wondering why my back dock wasn't charging, and turns out that 2 of the 4 contacts are completly bent out of shape…

Trying to correct them with tweezers.
I had the same on my front one ... bent it sort of in place, working fine after that

What fscking drugs are you smoking?

Left behind? Sales are up 143% vs XBox 52% DECLINE!

I wouldn't say it's poorly made, just poorly designed.

I really don't like how precise you need to be to get the controller aligned and charging properly. It's not the end of the world as I'm used to it now but they could have done a better job.

I just went cheapskate with no complaints:

With the added bonus that it works on all 3 brands (Xbox, PS5, 8Bitdo for Switch)

Because Game Pass and xCloud don't require a console, welcome to the future of gaming.

But guess you don't want to believe Sony when they stated this a few months ago they were pumping money into GaaS and cloud.

LOL, Game Pass has been increasing in subs year on year. Ponies love to go on about how bad Game Pass is, yet subscribe to the inferior PS+

Also,.go read up on the current and projected cloud gamer numbers, you will be horribly surprised.

Lol. Yet the PS Portal is sold out everywhere even though pretty much everybody at announcement thought it was a bad idea. The cloud situation will improve exponentially in the next years.

The failed xbox one was a great idea at the wrong time as pretty much everything it promised back then is the norm today regardless of which console family you're a part of. That basically killed off Sony's competition at the time and led them to be in the position they are today which is greedy sony reminiscent of the early PS3 days.

If MS actually gets its exclusives situation sorted then it will be able to move more gamepass subs which is the real business they're into. They plan on not having a console generation but just the ability to game whenever, wherever (Insert Shakira meme here). I'm sure your 2043 will come alot quicker than that!

Bro, don't speak facts and logic, it hurts the pony brain.

That's weird, I thought the PS5 controller charges from the bottom of the controller, or mine do on the dock anyway.
yes, or from the USB-C port .. so easiest is to make a dock with USB-C Ports, instead of having to interface with the proprietary ports
