Btw, whats your sentiment on the new XBox Series X? Last I heard, its 2TB storage but digital only? Not sure about the release date though.

Technically Xbox has none cause all their games drop on both PC & console at the same time, but that is a conversation for another thread.

There is no clear definition but in colloquial use, first party does not refer to platform exclusivity only but rather to publisher ownership and/or funding, at least in my view

Think it's a more realistic "upgrade", probably aimed at people who haven't yet bought one. If you have fast enough internet then there's no reason to upgrade. Would have preferred a non-proprietary expansion slot though.

The mid-life hardware upgrade doesn't make sense in this gen. Last gen it brought us 4k which was more compelling. In this gen the base console is just going to hold back the Pro...

Yup, I doubt it too. Like 0.2% of people even have 8K TVs and nobody seem interested in them either.

8k was already marketed to us for this gen...

Wow what an underwhelming non-event.

I bet anyone who got A/B tested on those demos woul fail hard.
