PS5

Just a question, seeing as this thread seems more about those looking for a PS5 than anything else:

For those that have one, are you loving it as much as I am? I hear folks saying "whisper quiet"". I hear eff-all, other than on start up and a disc "loading". No whispers at all, otherwise.

The UI is nothing but eye-candy. PSN and PS Plus are also eye-candy, and are miles ahead of the PS4. Maybe because it can finally take advantage of a fairly decent fibre speed?

And then the games etc. This is obviously with the caveat of having a 4K TV with HDR. I'm not trying to crow about what I got; I'm saying you have to have these things to have your mind blown.
 
Does anyone know if the 2nd wave from Koodoo will be arriving the week of the 13th or (16th-20th December) or has this also been pushed back to the week of Christmas?
 
need some advice; my ps4 headset broke (gold i think) wwyd;
ps5 headset or something else? razer / steelseries / alienware / ???? / only to be used with ps5
i thought grado sr80's and the built in controller mic is fine, but the soundstage isnt wide.

thoughts?

Perhaps ask Koodoo that question?

Most 2nd wave orders were estimated to arrive in the 2nd/3rd week of Dec. Nothing was committed to as far as I saw.

BT Games sent me an SMS last week that the second drop is now expected to be in the week of Xmas, so a week later. I would suspect that this is not just a BT Games thing but an SA wide thing.

I think you are looking at the wrong thing then when deciding. It's not just framerates and such that makes the difference between the two - it's the couch (lazyboy for me :) ) and flatscreen ergonomics vs sitting at a desk with monitors and keyboard.

Yes, yes, I know some will jump in again saying you can play your PC in the lounge and so on and so forth. For me it's not the same. I don't need to bother with driver updates and all the other shenanigans required with PC gaming. Also remember that cheating by players is also far easier on PC, if you are into multiplayer gaming.

Contacted Koodoo customer support and their staff are not aware of any delays yet.
