PS5

It's been a thing for a while now where it's just better to buy what you want as soon as you can. No point in waiting for price drops cause those times are long gone.

Only this generation has kept increasing and shown very little.
Even the Xbox One I played a ton on. Nowadays it's like eh

I hear you about the 2%, all I'm saying is why make statement about tough economic conditions then cut off a revenue stream, we know what Sony made on the ports, do we know what it cost them?

2% of something is still is still 2% of nothing, especially if you make statements about tough economic conditions

PS they closed another studio in the week.
 
The only time I am upgrading my PS5 is if GTA6 is confirmed to look much better on the Pro vs non pro.
 
Anyone played Ghost of Yotie yet? Considering starting it next. But it’s £70 for the game. Worth it? GoT was amazing.

Yea, loved it as much as GoT. My 1 minute review is it's better in every way except the story.

Do you have the disc PS5? Cause it's £59 on Amazon

If you're quibbling about spending 70 pounds for the sequel of a game you thought was amazing, then the Pro was never meant for you.

Thanks, I sunk a lot of time into GoT. So this seems like a good buy then.

Only have digital version PS5. So have to pay whatever is on the Store.

Was good, I preferred GoT though - maybe because it was the original and Yotei feels very similar.

Some things bothered me more than they should have though like the English voice acting certain children who are voiced by the adult voice actor and it's obviously not a child's voice :laugh: That was really immersion breaking for me.

Still had a great time with it.

I saw that complaint going around as well. I always play these games with Japanese voices and English subs, which were perfect imo

I finished half of GoT years ago and got bored after the first half of the map.

Got Ghost of Yotei and finished it, great game.

Tried going back to GoT and just couldn't. Combat feels shallower and less visceral, animations and facial expressions are far stiffer, music isn't as fast paced, audio feels flat and lifeless, environments look stylized and less photorealistic.

I had a great time with Ghost of Yotei. Used the English and felt it was fine. If you wanna find real immersion breaking dialogue then check out vids of AC Shadows with the English voice actors, ooof.
