Feel the same, besides I have a Media PC capable of running all the emulators already. Would only look at Jailbreak if I bought a second PS5 just for that purpose.
 
20 years ago I took my xbox 360 to the flea market, got whatever chip they installed back then and had lekker R100 games because I was a broke 22 year old.

Now, I don't have the time, energy or any know how of jailbreaking a console and I earn enough to buy whatever I want to play now.

Exact same experience. I had the original Xbox when it came out. My brother and I put nice lights in it and modded it. Some fancy chip we ordered online and solider it to the board. Then Got the original XBMC installed and loaded games onto the the massive 20GB hdd. Those were the days.

Now I just can’t be bothered and like you, earn enough to buy my games.

Ja seems like a lifetime ago.

Just remembered for the 360 I used to connect the DVD drive to my computer to flash it with a specific firmware so it would work with flea market games. You had to solder something to them too depending on the firmware version you had. We had such fun with that kak.
 
I still remember taking my PS2 + Messiah chip to Mark in Bothasig

no network locks to worry about, or OTU's, just sleeves of CD's :D
