Got myself an extra Pro this week just to hack it
Super keen to play Bloodborne again @ 60fps and increased resolution.
Bitter-boy, you still need to be able to afford a PS5....

None of this is a problem if you don't need any of Sony's live services.
Game updates are possible without a connection to PSN and games are being backported for earlier firmwares.

Not everyone gives a damn about multiplayer or even having their console on PSN. The benefits to a homebrew capable machine outweighs everything for some.

Same here. Recieved my Pro yesterday, and came as Firmware 12.60. Using overdrive 1.0.5 at the moment.
Any reason for us to update to 13.60? Many pro related performance fixes from fw 13.xx
Red dead redemption 2 with all dlc and unlocked 60 fps on the ps5 is decent.
I'm not going to lie my ps5 has been pretty dormant because games are so damn expensive so was playing on pc.
Since the jailbreak it's been nice to play ps5 again. Having all the games is decent.

The only reason is if you do not want to wait or get back.ported versions of the new games like Wolverine and Star Wars galactic races but since those are already out no real reason.
As it stands I don't think there is a difference between 12 and 13 but from 11.70 you dont want to upgrade due to fpkg support.

Enjoy 20 year old games and Zelda on your PS5. And even a mix of them, all in the same modded game.
