PSA: Sickbeard is out, Sonarr is in.

Anyone that wants x265 can do a quick Google for a program called Jackett.
 
OK so where do I DL this program from?
And where are the setup instructions?

Can't I just pay one of you plebs to come install it for me?
 
I dont really know sonarr or the installation there of but perhaps someone could teamview to your machine and set it up?
 
I need to try rebooting first... but I can't reboot cos the family are watching stuff from this computer over the network! :crylaugh:

x265, sadly, isn't mainstream yet and will probably take another few years to be. Sadly....

As for HEVC content only on torrents...I've found quite a few on usenet indexers
 
Random question - how do you set a downloaded episode as failed, so it re-downloads, but not the same source (e..g a poor quality download)
 
OK, so I figured out that there was a problem with that computer - Other installations are also failing. I'll have to reformat that computer.

But then I installed it on another clean - recently formatted PC - and now I get a different error after it installed fine.
I go to start the program and my browser opens and it says "File Not Found".

Activity > History > Look for Little "i" (info icon) on right hand side of the file it downloaded. Click on it. Click on big red "Mark as failed" in pop-up. That should flag that file as bad.

Can anyone recommend a torrent client and best site to search for automation in sonarr (as a nntp backup)
 
Got everything up and running with Torrents - but I see Sonarr is occasionally downloading the same thing from both newsgroups and torrents? e.g. a show on last night was downloaded via newsgroups - and I see its also in the torrent queue.

I know on sickrage it was possible to control when torrents are used (by age) - is something like this possible in Sonarr?

Settings - Profiles - show Advanced settings, right at the bottom, Delay Profiles.
