:wtf: I did LOL.
Maybe because 85% of the PSL players are black it feels that way.
Johannesburg - AmaZulu midfielder Tsweu Mokoro has expressed concern at the treatment meted out to black players in the PSL.
The dreadlocked star had his contract terminated by Ajax Cape Town earlier this season and the club refused to pay him out, leading to the player reporting the matter to the South African Football Players Union. The case has been dragging on for a while, but it seems there will soon be light at the end of the tunnel for the left-footed player. He gave the Siya crew an update on the case.
“The case is now done. I stated my case and Ajax stated their case. It is now in the hands of the lawyers and it is only a matter of time before the PSL makes a decision.
“We didn’t agree with Ajax. I wanted them to at least pay me out for a year and they wanted to only pay me out for three months. That’s little money. The sad thing is that the PSL does not cheat clubs in terms of the monthly grants, so why should the clubs be so stingy? And if you look carefully, it is only black players who are on the receiving end of this poor treatment from clubs. If you go to court, it’s black players!
“No coloured players, no white players…it’s not fair. The PSL should protect us,” said the Zamdela-born playmaker.
