PSU Question

it needs to suck in air at the bottom.

and don't buy a gigabyte psu, they are bad, to be honest they are as bad if not worse then generic stuff.

I think that the PSU will only fit in one orientation. All of the screw holes in the case are supposed to line up with those in the PSU. In my case the large 12cm PSU fan faces downward i.e. towards the floor of the case and the PSU is mounted at the top of the case.

I bought an AeroCool E78-430W for R230 a year ago and I have been very happy with it so far. It definitely seems adequate for an entry level machine. If you are planning on building a high end gaming machine then it would be wise to purchase something better.

I dunno the odin's are fine for a regular setup. Perhaps not for vga cards though.

The fan must face down provided there is a vent or holes otherwise face it up. What case have you got?

The Odin's are really junk. Like my dad bought a 370W Odin for more than what the Corsair CX430 costs and 6 months later it couldn't even power a PC that would use like 120W max.

Ok thanks, I've ordered the cx 430. Apparently the cx 500 is more future proof but I just need my side pc to be able to start in case I need it, plus not in it for gaming or using special add on cards.

BTW the case is ATX 12V
