Anyone use the 360 wireless controller with a generic receiver?

I had one for a few years. It did the job, but I didn't use it that often. You had to install drivers via device manager, which was a bit of an inconvenience. In my case, I had to use my wired controller because my play and charge kit stopped working. So I needed both plugged in which was frustrating.

In the end, either the controller or the generic receiver broke. In games it would just pull to the left all the time. So I bit the bullet and just went with a new Xbox One controller + receiver.

Thanks, think i'll give the generic receiver a go. I basically have two new controllers that i'm not using,so might as well give it a go.

Wondering if a new updated controller will come out next year with the scorpio.

If you love playing shooters and Forza on PC then you'll want the Xbox One controller because of the rumble triggers and the built-in headphone jack. The new streamlined Xbox One controller is just around the corner and it comes with built-in Bluetooth. I would rather wait until Black Friday or Christmas and get one at that time. If you have a few old console games around, you can trade them in for credits at BT towards hardware.

do they change prices after getting new stock ?

Not sure. Haven't needed to wait for anything before.

With the current exchange rates I would expect them to yes. But they generally beat everyone else for the products they do have listed.

I have the steam controller. I like it.

Paid R500 for it.

Using the Steam controller for Kodi and the rest of Windows now.
More responsive than my other Bluetooth solution but I need to somehow map the rest of the buttons with Windows and Kodi.

Which delivery options do you use courier or pargo pickup? Is there any difference in delivery time?

I hook up my Xbox One controller to the PC via 5m USB cable. Works flawlessly. As for delivery options they all work. It's handled by Dawn Wing.

So it might be there by you on Tuesday. Give them a shout and they'll assist.
