Query - Telkom ADSL

I have a rather stupid question - I would like to get Telkom uncapped ADSL, but unsure about how the costs work in terms of line rental, etc. According to the website the monthly cost for the speed I want is R199; Telkom line rental is R148; ADSL line rental is R165; and Do bundle discount is R35. Basically I just want to know what the difference is between the Telkom line rental and the ADSL line rental - do I need both? I stay in a flat and I don't have a Telkom line but there is a connection. What is the Do bundle discount?

Unfortunately you do need both, even if you're not going to be using the line for voice

I reckon that the bundle discount is just a discount if you take the whole bundle (not that you really have a choice).

Yea that's one of the biggest complaints people have, is that you're forced to pay for something you don't need or use. You can have a look at some of the other ISPs who offer bundled packages as there are some great deals, just remember to add the voice line rental amount.
