Hi all,

Okay, so in a nut shell, I have the following PC:

• Intel Core i5 3330 CPU
• Gigabyte H77M-D3H motherboard
• NVidia GeForce GTX 660 graphics card
• 8GB DDR3 (4x 2GB chips)
• 3x SATA hard drives (1x 2TB and 2x 1TB's)
• Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

I've been toying with the idea of doing an upgrade but not sure what to do - It was between the CPU and Graphics Card.

Thoughts? Opinions?

CPU is still fine.
Definitely GPU.

Why don't you add a SSD first thou? It will be the most noticeable improvement.

I was waiting for someone to say that, but the problem is, SSD's are awesome (I've seen what they can do) but the pricing is hectic and besides, my main drive (2TB) is full of Steam/Origin etc games.
SSD's are not big enough yet for me and the ones that are, are HECTIC with pricing.
I was thinking graphics card as well.

Crucial 250GB R1549 128Gb under R1000.

Takealot had a decent special recently as well. You use it for your OS, Applications and a game or 2. There won't be any increase in FPS while gaming, but there is something so satisfying about your PC booting in under 5 seconds :) All other applications open up instantly.

Speak to GTX Gaming, he has some great deals, and he also purchases your old card if you want.

What i do is keep my OS on a 128 gig ssd along with as little data as possible, just docs, emails and programs. I have a 3tb with my origin and steam libraries on it
It works nice this way. If you have to format you have very little to backup and if you point a new steam installation to the library all your games are insta installed again. Origin is a little harder, point your origin install folder to the library then install the games one at a time and origin will detect the existing files.
