Question about water

I read in a popular mechanics once (loooong time ago), that a bowl filled with fresh water (tap/borehole), tends to absorb at least "some" of the tobacco smell in a room...

I assume the bowl should be relatively big...



Based on that, I'm slightly put off drinking a day old glass of water...

No, I forgot to change it a while back...

But if you must know, I was busy pouring some tobacco water, cause I smoke near the fridge...

probably about a week or so if it stays closed and longer if you bang it in the fridge.
