Firstly sorry RPM for posting it here but this is the only way im sure that you will see it.[:D]

What would be the chances that a dedicated Wifi/Wisp section can be made.
If it were to be made it would be a good starting point for anyone looking into getting an internet connection from a commercial wisp
I know there a lot of us in this forum using jawug or our own little wifi nets.

Hi guys

I have opened a dedicated forum under "other broadband services". If it is particularly busy we can move it to its own category.

The more people who use wireless and know about the options available the better...

I'm not sure what the views are from the rest of the forum, but since these wiresless meshes / Wisps are illegal at the moment, it might not be the best idea to make myAdsl a hub for this sort of thing, the name of the forum has remained very good, and it might not be great in a year from now to be labelled "Those guys promoting illegal stuff"

By the forum providing a section dedicated to this, it could be seen as though MyAdsl encourages these acts.

Wireless is no illegal. Only in certain implementations can it be considered illegal. Theorizing about its application in the South African locale cannot be bad.

;o)

Cheers
Antowan

### What we need in South Africa is cheap 24/7, always on Internet for under R300 a month. ###

Even farting a morse code message across the road is illegal because it would be classified as communication... wireless is a lot better smelling and one cant see it, and no one can fart at 11Mbps unless they've had 5 tons of baked beans. Save your ass - use wireless.
