fanbois.
Most of them are probably in it for the money or the publicity.
I'd camp out for a couple weeks for $6000 (3 seats @$2000 each) if I was younger.
"The 25-year-old music producer from New York…" which is about as employed as an actor-slash-waiter in NYCAnd run the risk of losing your current job? No thanks.
That's to say they actually get the $2000 a seat. No doubt they get bartered right down.

I like my iPhones as much as the next oke...when upgrade time comes around.
I will never understand people standing in queues...(within reason it is understandable) waiting for ANYTHING.
So let me get this straight, people will pay more for a spot in the queue than what the actual phone is worth ($900, overpriced)?
And it's not even a nicely specced phone? I will give Apple credit on one point, they know how to market their rubbish.
And of course, the sheep just line up weeks in advance, ready to get fleeced.
Exactly. I'm sure you're not retarded enough to camp for the next one. You can wait two weeks for yours to be delivered to you via a courier.![]()
