I've set up a 'simple queue' for each machine on my network, so that all data that runs through the router (to the internet) gets logged (just the quantity; no details). This works well for everyone else, because only their 'internet' data gets logged, but it doesn't work for me. I get all the data that I use when I'm connected to winbox included in my log. When I change the interface to ether2 (the modem), then I get no data logged. Any suggestions?

Setup a connection Mark based on the FORWARD Chain, and Source MAC Address? then do a Packet Mark on that Connection and create a Queue based on that Packet Mark?

From what i can see, the prerouting will only collect packets between your mac and the Ether2 (not the router?)
