quick question - LG 47" LED (Makro)

Thanks D3x :)

What problems are you having when narrowing down by option? I'll address that with our team ASAP. You are not the first person that has said this, though I cannot replicate on my side. Would be very grateful for more feedback.

Say I want to see the televisions, so I select the sizes like 30-40 and 40-50 then it just loads forever. Likewise if I do it by brand.

Does the same on my Firefox, ie, iPad and on different Internet connections and pc's

Wow, well spotted. I actually use Chrome so I had not picked this up. But I get exactly the issue you describe when using FireFox. I have sent this information onto our developers and hope to have it fixed ASAP! Will let you know..

Thanks :)

Same thing on IE and on safari on ipad

Yeah, mmmmm, thanks for the adivce?

Dion wired has the UA46-D6000 Samsung for R10k until end of tomorrow, I would have gone for that.
As I recall it's 120Hz and also has the Smart TV software, WiFi ready, etc.
Samsung generally better quality than LG I think?

Found this for anybody interested in settings.
Post 46's settings worked for me, just played around with the backlight at little.

Thanks D3x :)

Usually involves trying different browsers. :p :D

Using Chrome here, I went to this url:
http://www.guzzle.co.za/specials/list/electronics/gaming/gaming-consoles/
which according to your site will have 17 items listed, it loads 6 items, and you have a loading image at the bottom that continues to spin indefinitely.

Using Charles I found that this request failed:

http://www.guzzle.co.za/specials/pagination/electronics/gaming/gaming-consoles/?page=2

Code:
<div id="summary">
  <h1>Forbidden <span>(403)</span></h1>
  <p>CSRF verification failed. Request aborted.</p>

</div>

We have implemented "infinite scrolling" on the site. The desired behaviour is showing 6 items by default and then loading more when you scroll down.

Thanks for that mention of CharlesProxy I have not used that before, very handy.

A new version of the site went live yesterday, and I do not have these issues anymore when I view the site in FireFox. Do you guys still get them on your end? Remember to clear browser cache of any old code..

Charles has been a time saver on many occasions for me. I ended up buying my own license when I left the company that had a site license for it, because its that good :)

I am thinking of buying this set. Can you give me some feedback positive/negative please!

No real issues, just that it’s still too small :D
No ghosting or lag that I could see from my PS3/360, or when playing 1080p mkv files using XBMC.
Only small “problem” is that the screen is little bit more reflective that I would have liked.
Nowhere near plasma reflective, but not a matte screen.

If you setup the TV with the settings from AVForums you won’t be disappointed.
