Hey guys,

After waiting over 30minutes for a consultant to answer the phone on 111 I hung up (I thought Telkom was bad!) I just have a quick question. I'm on a 3G/HSDPA contract. Is it possible for me to buy an additional SIM card from Vodacom and then use that to connect to the internet when my usage limit on the contract runs out?

I plan to buy data bundles on prepaid once the cap on the contract is reached.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it is possible.

You can just buy ad-hoc bundles to 'top-up' your contract. No need for an extra SIM.

BTW, next time rather call 155.

I advise against Ad-Hoc CDBs, and in favour of BeLgaRiOn's PPDBs + pre-paid SIM Card idea, but I agree on calling 155 instead of 111 next time :).

I'll bear that in mind, thank you all.

Prepaid works better for me, as it's a business contract and it's much easier to just do it the prepaid way.

Thanks guys!
