Quirky AirDrop

So here's the deal… Airdrop hasnt worked on my iPhone since I upgraded to iOS 9 - prior to that it was hassle free. I haven't upgraded my laptop to El Cap so I figured that was the problem.

However the other day I was working in the field via a moble wifi unit and there it was again - got back home and it was gone so I clicked on Forget this network on my phone and back it was…

Anyone got any suggestions on how to get it working at home without forgetting my network every time I want to use it?

I had the same problem and gave up on trying to find a solution. Finally I upgraded to El Cap and it works flawlessly now.

I can't upgrade so I'm going to have to try and figure something out.
