Freeware is fine but i don't mind coughing out some moola for it.


Basically all i want is a program that i can type a quote up and it will put in the ex vat amount and calculate the final total with 14% vat. It must also add numbers onto the quote.

I have been doing this manually but i am getting stuck typing quotes all day when i should be out getting in more business. So i want something user friendly so the new lady at work can do it without much hassle. I would also like to be able to type in the quote number and find it.

Also i don't want a complex program like pastel or quickbooks. Just something simple, easy and focused on quoting. A pdf feature and perhaps mailing feature would also be lekka

Just an observation but Quickbooks is very easy to use and learn.
Generating a quote is simple, then generating an invoice based on that quote is even simpler. You can then either email directly (will convert to PDF automatically) or print/convert to PDF as you require.
The rest of the programme you can ignore (the book keeping functions etc) like me
