R/C Brushless Motors

Hi!

I want know is, can I change the direction of a R/C brushless dc motor with ESC, without having do any wire swapping. Is it possible to use an H-bridge circuit or extra circuitry to change the direction?

The application for it is an underwater system that needs to have depth control so i plan to use a brushless dc motor as the motor would have to spin continuously for long periods.

Yes, you can as long as the ESC has the function.

The esc will already have a three phase h-bridge inside in order to control the motor.

Possibly a stepper would give you better control?
