R10k for a racist msg??? Ooooh, I am going to encourage everyone who knows me to start calling me red-neck in their messages just so I have some blackmail for future purposes. This sounds like a great get-rich-quick scheme. I might just MLM this idea...

Red neck, cracker, cheese boy, whitey or honkey wouldn't get you 10k in your dreams. I dont believe there are any racist words that criticise whites that would get a non white in any trouble, let alone paying 10k. They would be played off as general slang or something. On a further note.. If they reached a settlement, then exactly why were their names and locations released? This is basically saying like, hey im racist against blacks, come and kill me. If I was the racist Id sue for releasing my name and endangering my life and the lives of my innocent family, aswell as ruining my reputation. I can only assume things will no go so lekker for him at work anymore..

I'm not suprised someone who can find a connection between those two issues is confused, since its not only whites who are the victims of violent crime in this country.

Remember this was a settlement. Would you be happy if you sister, spouse, mother got raped and they offered the rapist a settlement?
You guys are going off topic here and arguing the amount paid. The perpetrator of this crime agreed to that amount. He is lucky to have kept his name out of it from what I have been able to read about it.
EDIT : You changed this post just before I responded and took out the reference to a rapist but I will leave my post as is...
Thats the problem with it... It was settled with apparently both parties content with the result, yet his name and address area WERE released aswell as the maids name!!!! Himself and more importantly his family are open to racial hatred attacks now. AND everyone now knows the maid is going to have 10k!!!!

i do not see the connection between a brutal murder or rape and this settlement
why do you guys choose to bring up murder and rape with a simple racism case
this man did not rape or murder anyone so i dont get what your saying
so you think just because certain bad ppl rape and murder that every black person should be called a nasty name and treated like crap
thats whats wrong with this country, a few bad black apples rape and murder and then everyone starts to see blacks as bad ppl
