Hi Guys, I have come across this Smart Phone and I find it extremely interesting. So I thought I would post a thread here to gauge your responses.
Basically I am involved in procurement in the retail industry and I see an opportunity for a phone like this in South Africa. Potentially this phone will sell for R1999.99 with a 1 year guarantee. This is with a national retailer, who's name I can unfortunately not divulge. I have a sample unit that I have been playing with for a week now and I must say that I really do like this unit. It's quite a large phone and the screen size is the same as that of a Galaxy Note. It's a dual sim phone and and as you can see I am running Vodacom and Cell-C concurrently with my data coming from Cell-C and my voice from Vodacom. Battery life is quite impressive and I need to charge every second day or so. Keeping in mind that I am not using this as my primary phone.
Oh as an extra this comes with a pouch and an extra battery in the box.
Camera pictures are fairly good at 5MP... Will post some samples later.
So basically I would really like to hear from the "forumites" here. Would you consider buying one at R1999.99? What do you like/dislike?
Thanks a mil... (Oh yes and this is blatant free market research, but I know you guys enjoy this stuff as much as I do so most won't mind
)
