R50 Uncapped 24hrs - Discussion

Back in the day there was a loophole but they canned this loophole cause there firewall implantation wasn't fully top notched. Remember back in the day downloading over 200 gb in a month without any throttling whatsoever but I wouldn't recommend it with RICA, easy to trace you.

Does the trick still exist? How do i bypass 1 day? I thought maybe they have time recording on their server.

Hi! Has anyone tried the one day data bolt on an LTE Device? and if so, how is the speed?

i don't think there is a loophole anymore, now when i load it they reset the cached speed so it goes back to normal.

Just actually wish they would provide a 1 day uncapped bundle, at different throttle speed 256KBS even 384KBS, or 512KBS, obviously prices would increase, wouldn't mind paying as much as R100.00 or R150.00 for same service if the speed increases. Full month prepaid uncapped, with a reasonable fair usage policy 10gb's isn't too bad, with a 384kbs throttle, would be ideal for me.

Nothing wrong with wishing, but lets not forget, MTN is a business, and in business, money comes before any customer's wishes.

Yeah I know, like I said, I would gladly pay for an improved service, and month to month uncapped.I am not keeping my hopes up, wouldn't be a problem if telkom stops dragging their feet and install ADSL in my area...they spend millions upgrading the infrastructure here with fiber-optics, currently only handling calls.

But business(money) triumphs customer satisfaction every time in South Africa, the mentality, of lets turn down 30 small town with 20 ADSL subscribers each as it's not viable attitude, it what annoys, long gone are the days where each and every client is important, it's now where can we make the most money the quickest way possible....

Being forced to use MTN, is like purgatory the only difference, your paying your ass off to be there.

dont be fooled

mtn.jpg now there is some proof just think about it and thats just for buying the special maybe say 3 days in a row they cant throttel you if you ensure you never stop the download that or ensure it never goes beneath 200kb and stays there a while if you can get a direct HSPA+MTN signal it runs as a 35mb line and you can download 100 gig easy a day that not even including upload.

Wow that must have been the most traffic that MTN tower has ever seen. Anyways you are either lucky and used it on a topup or prepaid number. If you used it on a openline contract then that might be a problem if the uncapped bolt on did not activate.

cavedog back in the days this would have been achievable now days they have tighten the loophole. I agree with you if the OP is on contract then he is screwed cos occasionally people don't read the SMS. Then automatically download, numerous people were caught with their pants down.

I have not used the 24-hour bundle in the last 6 months or so. Purchased one today and managed 300 MB when they started throttling me. Used to be able to get a lot more out of it in the day.

I'll be first in line to donate petrol money for the whaaaaaaaaambulance when your account arrives end of the month.
