I think honestly, ppl are too sensitive about this...giving the race of the person stealing the cables does not imply racism? for me its just more information? the generalization that all black ppl steal would be racism?

So we should remove a headline saying 3 white men stole a car, to 3 men stole a car, to 3 ppl stole a car (to avoid sexism as well)? Its information, how you process it will determine if you see it as racist?

I agree there, because those references "them" and "they" etc could indicate a certain racial group with which they are attaching generalizations...

As somebody who is (supposedly) speaking for myBB you would expect him to at least 1) have his profile indicate he is a moderator and 2) clarify his position at myBB. As none of these conditions were met the first thing people tend to look at is post count as somebody who is staff on a forum usually have been there for a while and might have accrued quite a few posts in that time.

He is expressing his opinion of how he views MyBB (i dont think he is a mod??? could be wrong but doubt it), in any case does his post count weight his words more? Hardly....at thats the point i was making....
