Rafa fired

lol 350 million debt... doubt they can afford to throw away another 16 million :D

If Inter buys him, will you be sad?

:D

If inter wanted aqualani we would have made a move last summer. He is too injury prone. Hence the chances of inter buying him is very very low. Talented player but can't stay fit.

Of the lfc players mascherano is much more likely. In fact there are rumors that inter have a meeting planned with his agent for next friday.

I say we start a fund to cover the shortfall and be rid of this TW@T. The sooner we are rid of Rafa the sooner our club can be back on track and to winning ways.

Back to winning ways?!?! You need a new dictionary mate.

Oh no now Liverfool gonna end up fifth rather than seventh

What i meant is, if Inter brings Rafa to the club as manager, will you be sad?

Season before last we only lost 2 games in the EPL if memory serves me correctly.

This last season we lost 12. 12!

So back to winning ways would be great!

Why bother answering the trolls?

I'm glad and sad that Rafa is gone. But he is only half the problem... the Yanks must bugger off as well.

+1

I'd be much happier if the Yanks buggered off.

"Winning ways" should mean "winning something". Apart from the ECL (Benitez's doing) you have won bugger all in a long time.

EDIT: Mind you, this is very subjective. Prior to Abramovich/Mourinho I was happy with Chelsea getting the odd FA Cup, the CWC and doing well in the Champs League. Now that type of form (nearly men) would not do it in my eyes and believe me when I say the last 3 years have been hell watching United lift the EPL trophy. Now I know that in the last decade some other honours have been won by Liverpool, but for a club of Liverpool's standing in England... that's nothing.

No. He wouldn't be my first choice but the options I would have ahead of him aren't available.

I liked his valencia team a lot. I also have full faith in marco branca on the transfer market, so there is no big worry of rafa screwing that up.

I respect rafa as a tactician. Don't trust him on the transfer market and have some douts about his rotation policy.

But overall if he does become the inter manager he would be a good choice. Yes the likes of capello, hiddink and pep as mentioned by the media would have been better but at the moment they aren't available so you have to go with your best option.

My feelings as a Liverpool supporter too. Rafa is a brilliant tactician, but his squad management is slightly suspect.

"He is a **** manager"

Your tune has changed a bit.

Back then it seemed capello and hiddink were available. Compared to them he is. Compared to zeman and hodgson , rafa is god.

So it depends how you look at it. Different perspectives.

He was inter's 4th choice, wasn't first.

stefan, How do you feel that Maicon, one of your favourite players has said he wants to leave and goto Madrid?

This has nothing to do with this thread.

Rafa is much better than Hodgson, but hodgson took Fulham (with a tiny squad) all the way to the final.
