Rage quitting Eskom, my setup...

Any success? Is the big boi fine now or is he still flashing?
Support seems slow.

I need to provide a Windows laptop + USB printer cable + Anydesk.

I've got all of those lined up, have requested they set a time for call so we can schedule, but they've yet to come back to me. Either way it's documented, so if anyone does go wrong they won't be able to argue but I should have done XYZ.

Crap okay. Keep us updated.

I was eyeing freedom won batteries when I was in the market for batteries, but they are out of my budget so I settled for Hubble.

I always thought Freedom Won had good warranty support which was why I thought highly of them

They do (afaik) - I doubt there will be any issue other than support being super busy.

Quick update - they gave me a direct number to call for tech support, once I did that there was no back and forth and I got instantly helped.

For support they required:
A Windows laptop (VM) --> printer USB cable --> Anydesk for remote assistance.

1.) Logged in, checked error code --> saw cell 8 was going both low / high --> cleared error code.

2.) They tweaked "Maximum Float Voltage Volts" and "CCL Percentage for Float Voltage" --> will follow up on Thurs to check error is gone for good.

3.) They they want 2 weeks to monitor battery and cell rebalance --> at which point they want to do another follow up call to see if all is well.

Happy with that - helpful staff (just phone, email is slow) and immediate assistance --> remote support (once you call).

Battery: FreedomWon Lite 20/16
(BMS is Orion JR2 if anyone is wondering, as they used this config utility to check)

I guess then I am not doing too bad with an array half your size.

20.5 Vs 28/29 on your side ?

I see I have passed the 1mWh line too Screenshot_2022-09-15-17-55-08-352_com.elinter.app.sunsynk.jpg

Yep not too bad - the only thing to remember, is that I've probably spent half the day not generating as battery is full and I don't have big draws once the geyser is done. So I'd have to switch more things on to generate more :ROFL:70160BC4-20F1-4E0A-A552-2E6F64C8FFFD.png

Running hot in ye old CPT winter!

Used so much power that the grid had to help supplement (I was testing load and brought up 2 geysers simultaneously - along with the dryer and washing machine :whistling: ...)

So, what is your Max Sell Power value set to?
Do any of you set it above mine (running an 8kWh SunSynk).

"The ‘Maximum Sell Power’ is, in fact, the maximum power of the inverter"

Max sell power should in theory be for when you SSEG have signed up for feedback, and want to feedback to grid. Havent read the manual in detail though, but thats my guess here.

You would need to set that to 4500 if feeding back/selling them power, as you have an 80A connection to comply with CoCT rules and regs...

Right now won't matter as you don't feedback, so leave at whatever.
