I recently decided to setup Raid 0 on my machine and I was pleasantly surprised with the performance since a lot of people told my that it's not worth it. Curious as to how my drives would perform on a benchmark I ran HDTach.

I'm running two Seagate SATA2 500GB 7200.12 (ST3500418AS) drives on an integrated Intel ICH10R storage controller. My strip size is 64KB and I've enabled the Volume Write-Back Cache option.

Please note that with the Volume Write-Back Cache option enabled the risk of data loss is a lot higher, use with caution.

Well.. or you could have just not used RAID for even better performance. nudge nudge wink wink...

I am guessing though that you did not use RAID 0 for recovery? Since 0 is the exact number files you will get back if your drives fail with RAID 0.

Nice Desktop BTW... could not help notice the Alien Icon.
