I had ordered a router but I can't find my ID. And my package is due to be delivered tomorrow. I went to Home Affairs for a temporary ID but the system is down. Is it possible that I will get my package if I do an affidavit at the police station?

You need an ID to be able to do an affidavit otherwise anybody can do it. What about a drivers licence?
