Rain 5G Winter Promo

Just a heads up for anyone looking into getting the deal.

I upgraded to the Premium package on the promotional deal at R699 per month.

I recently asked Rain to downgrade me back to the 5G Standard package once my promo period expired, which is due to end this month.

I don't want cut corners and downgrade to paying just R479 per month for the 30Mbps offering, I just don't want to pay R999 for Premium when the normal pricing returns.

I've found the 30Mbps Standard I previously had was more than sufficient for my needs.

The short of it is this: Rain agent said it's not possible to downgrade. So I'm guessing I'm going to have to cancel the package completely and take out a new one to go back.

Update on this: Rain rep got back to me and came up with a solution, so it's been resolved. Kudos to the improved support.
