We had hard rain for a good 20minutes here at the West Coast. Still going, but less audible.

The weather in Cape Town has been miserable most of this week week, but last night (Fri 30th into Sat 31st) we had some proper rain. Our gauge in Kenilworth had 10mm this morning, and nearly double that was recorded over the mountains.

It has also been very cold over a wide area of the Western and Northern Cape, and light snow was predicted for the highest peaks in the Western Cape this morning (Sat 31st).

Another weak front is predicted for Sun 1st, after which it should be dry, with temperatures gradually increasing during next week (early September).
